Dearest Lauren Genesky,
I was pleased with this class. There have been better classes and worse. Teachers too.
Were there times where I thought some of the stuff was dumb? Yes, but that's school.
Actually, some of the assignments were cool and allowed me to be creative in my work.
Stuff like the blogs and the Beo-cat poem (which I killed) were cool.
Of course, there were bad times. Like when you lied to my face about apps and zerts.
Knowing what I do now, I would have been more mean to you. You broke my heart.
Although, you also helped inspire me; you were my muse for all of my work this year.
You will be missed and jeered and remembered: with contempt and content.
Cole "Puddin' Pop" Buckalew
This is inspiring. You were a good person to get to know this year. I feel like we are now closer than ever; two celestial bodies drawn by gravity, locked in an ever closing spiral, always closing in on metamorphosis and complete immersion into each other. I only wish to be able to experience you everyday. I want to put on my boots and slosh through your mind and then take off all of my clothes and dive into your soul. You are effervescent, transcendent, radiant. You are a fluttering, wispy, and flitting breeze: moving through life as a bird makes its way south - with a sense of purpose, but with an observant and omniscient nature. I love you
ReplyDeleteDear Cole-
ReplyDeleteI was pleased to have you as a student. There have been better students worse. To say I regret teaching you would be erroneous.
Thanks for the creativity, absurdity, and analysis you provided daily (B-daily). You were one of my faves for sure. I hope that you really did love Whitman's work and weren't just saying that...it sort of made my day..but only that day.
P.S.I think zerts is actually zzerts...like a play on the two "s"s in dessert...maybe.
